Join in the fun this Saturday, October 3, at 12 noon as hundreds
march, ride, sing, dance and laugh in the 8th annual Thomas Hooker
Day Parade in downtown Hartford. The public is invited to join
Mayor Mike Peters, founder of the parade, and become a part of
this unique Hartford's tradition.
Participants in the parade will gather on Arch Street beginning
at 11 am. The parade will start at the Arch Street Tavern and
proceed west to Pulaski Circle, turns right onto Wells Street
and then up Trumbull Street to Church, up Church to Main and
then back down to Arch.
Among the participants in this year's parade are the U.S.A. Steppers,
The Hartford Ballet, Trout Brook Brewery, the Westend Coneheads,
The Hartford News and El Reportero, Hartford Tonite!, Duke &
the Esoteric's, Franklin Avenue Merchants Association (FAMA),
The Old Town Country Buffet, Trinity College, Hartford Public
Library, University of Hartford, Riverfront Recapture and more.
