Town InformationThe town of Lebanon in east central Connecticut, covers 56.1 square miles and is home to approximately 5,980 residents. Lebanon was settled in the late 1600s. When the first pastor, Rev. Joseph Parsons, was ordained in 1700 the town was incorporate by uniting lands granted by the Connecticut Colony and areas purchased from the Pequot Indians. Lebanon has always been primarily an agricultural town. The farms, fields, lakes, and historical landmarks all combine to create a striking pastoral setting.
