Town InformationThe town of East Haddam in southeast Connecticut on the east bank of the Connecticut River, covers 57.6 square miles and is home to some 6,870 residents. Originally settled around 1670, the town was incorporated from Haddam in 1734. Once a commercial center because of its location on the Connecticut River, East Haddam is now primarily a tourist town.
