Town InformationThe town of Woodbury in west central Connecticut, covers 36.8 square miles and is home to approximately 7,850 residents. Woodbury was settled in 1672 by three families and was quickly incorporated two years later in 1674. It originally included lands now incorporated as the town of Bethlehem, Roxbury, Southbury, and Washington. Woodbury is primarily a residential community. The town contains the Flanders Nature Center in addition to Orenaug Park.
