Town InformationThe town of Plymouth located in west central Connecticut, covers 22.4 square miles and is home to approximately 11,980 residents. Plymouth was first settled in 1728 and was incorporated from Watertown in 1795. Today the town remains a center for light manufacturing. It is especially famous for its manufacture of locks and has the only lock museum in the country. Many kinds of machine and computer parts are also manufactured here.
