DiGregorio, a licensed carpenter from Enfield, will be the guest speaker at the March 31 meeting of the East Windsor Historical Society at the Warehouse Point Library at 7 p.m. The program is free and open to the public. Program co-chair Pauline Putriment says DiGregorio is an expert in restorations and repairs to heritage homes. In addition to full carpentry services and renovations, he provides consultation and design, garden design, and private instruction. His presentation will include slides. The business portion of the March meeting will include an update on recent work to restore the East Windsor Academy building and to raise funds for the project. Putriment and Mike Hunt will also display photos of the Academy when it was used as a public school. Others with pictures are encouraged to bring them March 31. Plans are being made for the society's participation in the annual East Windsor Community Day program. Chairman George Butenkoff said volunteers are needed to help with an EWHS float in the parade and to man an informational booth at the intermediate school. |
